Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of olivaremporium.shop and every order placed through it. Olivar Emporium is a sole proprietorship running an online-only store from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Browsing or ordering means you accept them.

1. Acceptance

Ordering confirms you have read and agreed to these terms and to our Shipping, Refund & Returns, Cancellation, Payment and Privacy policies, all of which form part of this agreement. We update these terms occasionally; the version live when you order governs that order.

2. Who can order, and your account

You must be 18 or over and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Guest checkout is fine; if you open an account, keep the login private, because orders placed through it count as yours. Enter delivery details carefully — we cannot be held responsible for a parcel delivered to an address you typed incorrectly.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹ INR). We accept UPI (prepaid) and Cash on Delivery only; we do not accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking or third-party wallets. We operate below the GST registration threshold for individual sellers, so no GST is charged and no tax invoice is issued. Shipping charges are shown before payment.

4. Orders and our right to decline

Your order is an offer to buy; the contract forms when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel where an item is out of stock, where a price or description was published in error, where a PIN code is not serviceable, or where an order looks fraudulent. Anything already paid is refunded in full.

5. Delivery, returns, cancellation

Timelines, charges and carriers are in the Shipping Policy. Return rights and refund timing are in the Refund & Returns Policy, and pre-dispatch cancellation in the Cancellation Policy. Those pages are incorporated here by reference.

6. Colour, size and reproduction

We describe dimensions, materials, print substrate and framing as precisely as we can. Screens are not calibrated to one another, and paper and canvas take ink differently, so the tone you see on your monitor may differ slightly from the piece that arrives. That variation is inherent to printed art and is not a defect. Where a listing genuinely contains an error, section 4 applies. Reproductions of public-domain artworks are described as reproductions and are not represented as originals.

7. Intellectual property

Site text, photography, layout, graphics and the Olivar Emporium name and logo belong to us or are used with permission, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. Browse, download and print for your own personal, non-commercial use. Do not republish, scrape, resell or use our material to train an automated system without written consent. Artwork sold here is licensed to you for private display, not for commercial reproduction or resale as a print.

8. Acceptable use

Do not disrupt the site, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious code, or place fraudulent orders. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe any of this is happening.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Except as expressly stated and as required by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, this website and its contents are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with an order — whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory — is capped at the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law

Indian law applies, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Disputes fall to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
