Frequently Asked Questions

What people ask us before and after buying wall art from Olivar Emporium. If yours is not here, the email address is at the bottom.

What do you sell?

Wall art and prints: canvas pieces, framed and unframed art prints, multi-panel sets, gallery-wall poster sets and picture frames. Every listing states the printed size, the substrate (canvas or paper), whether a frame is included and what the frame is made of.

Are these original paintings?

No — they are prints and reproductions, and each listing says so plainly. Where a piece reproduces a well-known public-domain work, it is described as a reproduction, not an original or a limited edition.

What does shipping cost and how long does it take?

Free shipping on orders of ₹1,999 and above; a flat ₹69 applies below that. Handling takes 1 business day, with transit around 2–4 working days to metro PIN codes and 4–7 elsewhere, so 3–8 business days end to end.

How can I pay?

UPI in advance or Cash on Delivery — those two only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking or wallets, and no card form exists on this site.

Can I return a print I do not like?

Yes, within 10 days of delivery, as long as it is unused, still in its original packaging with tags, and sent back with the invoice. Personalised prints, clearance stock and gift cards cannot be returned. Approved refunds are released within 6 business days.

The glass cracked in transit — now what?

Film the parcel as you open it and email us the clip within 48 hours. We replace the piece or refund you in full and cover the shipping; you will not be asked to post broken glass back to us.

Is there a warranty?

There is no six-month or manufacturer-backed warranty on printed art, and you will not find warranty terms on our product pages. What you do get is cover for damage or defects on arrival — report it within 48 hours with the unboxing video and we make it right.

How do I hang and care for these?

Hang out of direct sunlight; strong sun fades pigment on paper faster than on canvas. Dust a canvas with a dry, soft brush and never a damp cloth. Clean glass with the cloth held away from the frame edge rather than spraying the frame itself. In humid months keep pieces off an outside wall that sweats, and leave a few millimetres of air behind the frame. Multi-panel sets look best with a consistent 5–7 cm gap between panels — mark the wall before you drill.

Will the colour match what I see on screen?

Closely, but not exactly. Monitors are not colour-calibrated to one another and ink behaves differently on canvas than on paper, so a slight shift in tone is normal and is not a defect.

Do you have a shop I can visit, or ship overseas?

No to both. We are online-only, with no gallery or walk-in counter, and we deliver within India alone.
